Debt Hater Featured at "Financial Confessions of A College Graduate" Blog

This week I am guest blogging over at Financial Confessions by College Grad.

This sister-from-the-south is working out her finances and her future career in law while living and working in JAPAN! Tokyo is on my list of places to visit before I die.

Sister girl's site looks wonderful (and she hasn't been blogging as long as yours truly, whose site needs a revamp!) and she has some great features including her "Crazy Broke Item of the Week" and lots of advice and personal experience for youngins trying to make their way in the world. Many kudos for getting her life off the ground in a foreign country.

Her parents are also from Alabama, where my grandmother is from. We're probably cousins!

Check out my archived posts with new commentary on her site here.

Debt Hater featured on AOL

Welcome everyone stopping by from AOL!
For those of you who didn't know, I'm featured at Debt, Dollars & Sense, a post at AOL's Money & Finance channel. There are some other very good personal finance blogs listed at the post (some are cyberspace buddies of mine) so check them out too!
Cindy, one of the money blog editors for AOL, also has a blog for the ladies called "Highlights, Bras & Stilletos: Surviving the Hidden Costs of Being a Woman." Check out the latest posts here.
She admits to having nearly $1,700 worth of beauty & bath products and cosmetics in her bathroom. I wonder what my tally would be? The point is clear: women's stuff costs more, there's more of it and most of us love it and spend the money anyway!
Men are not immune -- know any guys with am expensive gadget habit? Likes to buy silly, ugly sports jerseys for hundreds of dollars? Spends $200 a pop on shoes? I know some guys like that, so it's not just us.
Check out the blogs and learn something new!

My interview at My Money Forest

Tim at "My Money Forest" interviewd me about my blog and personal finance. It's a good interview with fun questions that are not all about money. I almost feel like a celebrity! Read the interview here.

For the record, I would love to take any orders for baked goods and ship them all over the country... I just need to figure out how first. I have a menu you can peruse here: Download cake_menu_2.doc  .

Enjoy!
